Checkout links
The no-code path. For most merchants this is the whole integration.
A checkout link is the no-code path, and for most merchants it is the whole integration. Create a plan, get a link, put it where your customers are.
Where to put it
Anywhere text goes: a link in bio, a pinned message, a post, an email, a button on your own site. It is an ordinary URL.
Why the link is unusual
The plan is stored inside the link itself rather than in a database. That is why it keeps working regardless of what happens to our servers, and why a link you saved months ago still works. It is also how you recover a plan we have lost track of: pasting the link back into the dashboard restores it.
Knowing which customer is which
If you run your own site and need to match a payment to one of your users, add your own identifier to the link:
https://your-checkout-link?ref=user_8812
It is opaque to us. We do not read it or store anything about your users, and it comes back on every notification about that subscription.
